Althae radix mucus adheres throat mucosa, decreasing the urge to cough; Primulae radix extract dissolves thick bronchial mucus and enhances coughing it up, Chamomilae Tincturae perfoms antiseptic, antiinflammatory, as well as mild relieving effects on affected respiratory tract mucosa.
